The Pennsylvania Counseling Association is offering a limited number of membership scholarships to selected first-year professionals and student members who identify as part of the Black, Indigenous, Person of Color (BIPOC) community. This initiative is managed by the Committee for Anti-Racism and Inclusive Action (CARIA) and is financially supported by the Pennsylvania Counseling Association (PCA). The goal of this scholarship is to increase PCA membership that is representative of all counselors in the state of Pennsylvania by decreasing barriers to involvement with PCA. PCA Black, Indigenous, People of Color Membership Scholarship

Purpose

This scholarship seeks to increase PCA membership that is reflective of our larger community and to reduce financial barriers by assisting in the cost of membership. Awarded scholarships will go directly towards PCA membership costs.

 

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for this scholarship applicants must be:

·        A member of the Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) community

and

·        Either a first-year professional or graduate student in the field of counseling or another related field that is connected to PCA
