EXTENSION: Proposals for the
53rd Annual Pennsylvania Counseling Association Conference

The conference will be held at the Alloy, a DoubleTree by Hilton in Valley Forge, PA - November 12-14, 2021. Thanks to all of our members who provided feedback regarding the conference and who have already submitted proposals for review. Please note, we are closely monitoring CDC guidelines and will follow their recommendations carefully to ensure a safe experience for all attendees. Roundtables will not be offered in order to observe social distancing. All presenters will need to be available to present in-person. Proposals should be geared toward counselors, supervisors, graduate students, and educators. The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to Sunday April 25, 2021 by 11:59 PM ET.

There are two (2) presentation types and all proposals should address this year’s theme, “Healing the Divide: Inclusion, Equity, & Empowerment in Counseling and Supervision.”

  1. 60-Minute Education Session.
  2. Poster Presentation.

Proposals will include a program description, 3 learning objectives, references used to inform the proposal, and qualifications of the presenters. As a reminder, all lead presenters must have a Master’s degree and all presenters must be PCA members. Please be prepared to upload a PDF copy of the lead presenter’s CV/Resume. Please review the proposal review rubric to inform your submission process.
